My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Belle

Belle is one year old and all heart — playful, cuddly, and convinced that every person and every dog is a new friend.

She’s around 41 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, potty trained, and even walks right into the shower for bath time (no arguments there). She’s great with medium and large dogs outside of the home and in public places, but does best living as your only dog.

Belle still has that young, full-of-life energy and sometimes forgets her size when she’s playing. She’ll do best with consistent structure, continued training, and a family that can match her enthusiasm.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
