My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Taylor: Your Future Furry Friend
Hello, I’m Taylor! I’m a spirited white German Shepherd mix with a story of resilience and hope. Like many unplanned litters, I was abandoned at a young age and found myself wandering the streets as a stray. Too young to fend for myself, I was fortunate enough to be rescued by a kind organization that took me in. Now, at 1 and a half years old, I am ready to find my forever home.
A Bundle of Energy and Intelligence
Weighing in at a solid 55 pounds, I am both agile and athletic. My intelligence makes me a quick learner, so training me is a breeze! I love running around and playing, so if you're looking for a playful companion, I’m your pup. While I’m good with other dogs, I’m no pushover—I enjoy playing well with others and making new furry friends.
Great with People and Kids
I get along well with people and children. However, due to my size and energy, I might be a bit too much for very small kids. I promise to shower your family with love and loyalty, creating cherished memories together.
My Skills and Health
I am proud to say that I am crate trained and walk well on a leash. I know how to stay within my fence and play safely. I have all my vaccinations, am heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped. I’m in great health, ready to bring joy and companionship to my new home.
Adoption Information
I am currently in the care of Barking Mad Animal Rescue and I’m eagerly waiting for my forever family to adopt me. I can be ready to join you on the next transport, which is happening very soon!
If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family, please consider adopting me. I promise to be a loyal and loving friend who will brighten your days with my playful spirit and affectionate nature.

More about this rescue

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.

100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.

BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.

We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.

BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
