Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ripley — yes, Ripley (believe it or not) is still waiting for his home.
At 45 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size. Big enough for adventures, small enough for snuggles. Ripley is house trained, crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s the kind of boy who fits right into a family like he’s always belonged there.
He’s sweet, easygoing, and ready to love someone with his whole heart. Ripley doesn’t need perfection, just a person, a couch, and a place to belong.
Believe it or not… he’s still here. And he’s still hoping it’s his turn.

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
