Meet Rip!

Rip is a 3-year-old yellow lab with a big personality packed into his smaller 45-pound frame. This fun-loving guy has plenty of energy and would love an active home where he can run, play, and burn it off.

Rip is house trained, crate trained, and loves other dogs. While he’s still working on his leash manners, he’s eager to learn and would benefit from a family ready to guide him. Because he can jump fences, Rip will need a home that can keep him safely on a lead or supervised when outside.

With his playful spirit and happy personality, Rip is ready to be your adventure buddy and best friend!

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
