My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Zephyr – Safe, but Still Searching for Her Forever! 🌟

From the euthanasia list to freedom – Zephyr’s life was spared, and she is now officially rescued! 💕 This gorgeous German Shepherd girl (about 2 years old, 75 lbs, spayed) has the softest amber eyes and those unforgettable radar ears.

Zephyr is everything you’d hope for in a companion – sweet, calm, curious, and friendly. She loves people, allows gentle touch all over, takes treats politely, and already knows “Sit” and “Paw.” She’s also leash-trained and seems potty-trained. While she has a lower energy level and isn’t into toys yet, she adores walks and human affection.

🐾 Dog-friendly with the right match: Zephyr has done well with calm, respectful dogs after slow introductions, but she isn’t a fan of pushy or high-energy dogs. She will thrive with structure, decompression time, and a family that understands her gentle spirit.
🐾 Cat status: Unknown.

✨ Zephyr has been failed by humans too many times, but we believe her true forever is out there. Right now, she urgently needs a foster or adopter to open their heart and home to her. With love, patience, and stability, Zephyr will blossom into the loyal best friend we know she’s meant to be.

Additional adoption info

Into the Wild Farm Adoption Process

At Into the Wild Farm, we believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, and forever home. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between each animal and their new family, while keeping the animal’s well-being as the top priority.

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application

Interested adopters begin by filling out our detailed adoption application. This helps us learn more about your lifestyle, home environment, and experience with animals so we can make the best possible match.

Step 2: Application Review

Our team carefully reviews each application. We may reach out for additional information or clarification to ensure we understand your needs and expectations.

Step 3: Reference & Home Checks

To ensure a safe and stable placement, we conduct reference checks and, when necessary, a home visit (in-person or virtual). This helps us confirm that the environment is appropriate for the animal you wish to adopt.

Step 4: Meet & Greet

Once approved, we arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This step allows you, your family, and any current pets to interact with the animal in a safe and supportive environment.

Step 5: Adoption Agreement & Donation

If both sides feel it’s the right match, you’ll complete our adoption agreement, which outlines your responsibilities as an adopter. We ask for an adoption donation, which helps cover veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and other rescue costs.

Step 6: Bringing Your New Family Member Home

With everything finalized, your new companion is ready to go home! We provide transition tips and ongoing support to help make the adjustment as smooth as possible.

Step 7: Lifelong Support

Adoption doesn’t end when the paperwork is signed. We remain a resource for you and your adopted pet for life. If circumstances ever change, we require that the animal be returned to Into the Wild Farm so we can continue their journey to a safe home.
