My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tesha — a spirited and resilient Cattledog/Husky mix who’s as beautiful as she is brave! Tesha is a very special girl who just happens to get around on three legs after being hit by a car as a young puppy. You’d never know it, though — her energy and enthusiasm for life are unmatched! She loves to run, play, and explore, proving every day that nothing can slow her down. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, wrestling with her dog friends, or snuggling up for a well-earned nap, Tesha’s joyful spirit shines through in everything she does.

She adores people and other dogs alike and thrives on being part of the action. Her playful nature makes her a wonderful companion for another friendly pup, and her affectionate personality ensures she’ll quickly become the heart of any home. Tesha is also potty trained and has adjusted beautifully — she moves with confidence and grace, always ready for her next adventure.

Born in January 2024, Tesha is currently being loved and spoiled in a foster home in Texas while she waits to find her forever family. This extraordinary girl is the perfect mix of strength, sweetness, and spunk — a true gem who’s ready to light up her new home with endless love and happiness. Whoever opens their heart and home to Tesha will be gaining not just a dog, but a loyal best friend who will inspire them every single day.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:

Additional adoption info

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
