If soulful eyes could win awards, Wyatt Derp would have a trophy shelf full of them. This 45lb mixed-breed sweetheart has the “I love you already” look down pat.
Wyatt is all about friends, fun, and affection! He loves playing with his doggy pals, showering his humans with kisses, and curling up for snuggles. Basically, he’s equal parts goofball and cuddlebug.
Right now, Wyatt’s being a brave boy while undergoing heartworm treatment. But don’t worry — he’s handling it like a champ and still brings his happy, loving energy to every day.
He’s looking for a foster-to-adopt family who’ll cheer him on through treatment and then officially make him theirs once he’s all cleared.
If you’ve got a cozy spot on your couch (and in your heart) for a derpy, loyal best friend — Wyatt Derp is your guy.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

If approved, a volunteer will bring the dog to your home for a meet & greet and home check.
Sign Adoption Contract
If the adoption representative and you agree the dog is a good fit for your family, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the fee.
