Sign Adoption Contract
Meet Sawyer. This 20 pound 16-week-old mixed breed boy is looking for a hero. He is blind but that does not stop this guy! He is still working on potty training. He is afraid of staying in
a crate all night long, however he goes to sleep in a bed beside your bed and sleeps through the night. He is working on leash training. He gets along with all dogs. He does not distinguish between cats and dogs as they are all playmates. He if food motivated and will gobble up his food once you put it by his nose. His smeller works very well and he comes when called. He is looking for a loving home. If you think you can be his hero, please apply at Adopt a Pit.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

We perform vet and landlord checks if necessary and will contact you if your application is approved.
Meet the Pet
If approved, a volunteer will bring the dog to your home for a meet & greet and home check.
Sign Adoption Contract
If the adoption representative and you agree the dog is a good fit for your family, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the fee.
