Meet Dixie, a delightfully easygoing canine companion residing in a shelter, eagerly awaiting a forever home. Dixie is the epitome of joy, combining energy and intelligence with a gentle, cuddly nature. She`s not only friendly and playful but also comes house trained and leash trained (but a little strong), ready to seamlessly fit into her new home. Despite her excitable demeanor, Dixie remains tolerant and affectionate, always ready for a hug or a playful game. She weighs 55 pounds and likes fetch, running, toys, walks, chase, wrestling, and sneakily bolting out an open door. If she runs away while off leash, she`ll come back if you call her. She knows the sit, no, and fetch commands. She was adopted and returned because of her behavior around other animals. Even though she is gentle, tolerant, friendly, and jumpy with children of all ages, she doesn`t behave well around dogs or cats. She`ll enjoy being your only pet so she doesn`t have to share her `stuff.` Adopting lovable Dixie means bringing home endless love and vibrant energy, perfect for anyone seeking a loyal and lovable friend.
