Foxy was seized from a property with many, many dogs ~ the kind of place where no one really got the love or care they deserved. She’s shy but gentle and friendly once she knows she’s safe.
Miss Foxy has really found her groove in her foster home. She’s been officially accepted as one of the pack and has revealed her gentle-but-firm leadership style. She’s got the softest kisses and snuggles, the kind that arrives exactly when you need it most ~ right after a long day or during a quiet moment when the world feels a bit too loud.
Every night she helps her human foster sibling with bedtime duty (Foxy's a professional tuck-in assistant) and then puts herself to bed under the covers in foster mom’s bed. She’s basically a weighted blanket with feelings.
Foxy has also started her heartworm treatment, and while she filed several formal complaints the first night about the overall situation, she bounced back the next day with her trademark calm and prancing dignity. She’s on her meds, doing great, and charming everyone within a five-mile radius.
Foxy is approximately 9 years old and 9 lbs. More details to follow as we get to know her better.

After application approval a meet and greet can be scheduled. If the meet goes well, the dog can go home with their new family.

We aren't first come, first served, rather our dogs are matched with the best person or family for them. We do not do same day adoptions as there are multiple steps to our adoption process.
