Lucy is a sweet girl who was found stray on the side of the road in the south. She is about 2 years old and 18 lbs. She loves people and dogs, and is even cat friendly. She's got moderate energy, is playful, curious, can jump high, and in true beagle style, pulls on leash. She is relatively quiet, although can be vocal when crated. Lucy is a young dog but is an old soul and would do best in a home with all adults or older children. She can be timid initially with new people and nervous with too much activity. While she loves dogs, she would do best in a home as an only dog or with a young, confident canine sibling. Lucy needs an attentive family willing to work with a trainer if needed. She has had tendencies to form strong bonds, so all family members should be ready to partake in her care (feeding, walking, attention giving). Lucy is fostering north of Boston.
