My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent at baileypol@icloud.com

Rocky might have a grumpy resting face; however, he is everything but! And this big boy might have a tough exterior but inside he is a complete softy. Rocky loves head scratches and will definitely be purring away at any chance he gets. He’s a big fan of gazing out the window, taking sunbeam naps, and just hanging out with everyone! If you’re looking for a super chill cat to help bring the good vibes to your home, then Rocky is the guy for you!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
