Meet Nuri!
1.5 years | 18kg | Spayed Female | Jindo Mix | Brown
Rescued from a dog meat farm on October 31st, 2024, Nuri has shown an incredible heart and resilience.
She’s friendly and affectionate, always approaching both familiar and new people to ask for pets and cuddles. Sometimes she barks at strangers at first, but a treat quickly turns her into your best friend!
She loves both women and men, and although she hasn’t met young children yet, she’s gentle and easy to handle — you can even lift her up and she’ll relax once she trusts you.
With Other Dogs:
Nuri is playful, social, and loves to meet new dog friends. She enjoys playing with dogs her size or bigger, and usually gets along with smaller dogs too. However, if a small dog challenges her, she may stand her ground — she’s confident but not aggressive. She can play well with high-energy dogs and often rolls over to show her belly to bigger ones.
With Cats:
She hasn’t met cats yet, but testing can be arranged.
Energy Level:
Moderate. She enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but also relaxes quietly after playtime.
Walks:
At first, she didn’t know how to walk on a leash, but now she walks calmly beside her handler, maintaining a nice distance and good rhythm.
Other Behaviours:
She doesn’t guard food from people or dogs, though she may give a small growl if another dog tries to take her food — she stops right away when corrected. Nuri isn’t anxious when left alone, but she doesn’t like being confined — she’ll scratch the door asking to come out, though she doesn’t bark much. She’s calm in a kennel, though still new to the car rides. She currently does her potty outdoors.
Nuri is affectionate, intelligent, and ready to bring joy to a loving home that appreciates her warm personality and playful energy. She’s a truly special girl who deserves her forever family!
