My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Friendly, Kind, Cuddly

Please meet Sassy Grams, a distinguished older guy looking for a furever home!

Sassy Grams is a handsome tabby boy who is very calm. He isn't overly chatty, but will purr and meow a normal amount. He is still figuring out what kinds of toys he likes best, but Sassy Grams seems to prefer lower energy play. He likes toys he can scratch and kick around. One area where he is very expressive is with giving and receiving affection. He is passionate about cuddles and is always up for a good snuggle session.

Even when not actively showing love, Sassy Grams likes to be near you. He'll hang out nearby if you are stationary and will also follow you around to see what you get up to (and how he can be involved!). He is quick to adapt to his environment and is thriving after just a short time in foster care. He hasn't had any known interactions with other felines or with canines or with children. But, given his mellow nature, he would probably do well with all given a period of gentle introductions. His ideal home is basically one that will suit his calm energy well while also giving him lots of time and opportunities for cuddling.

Sassy Grams has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Sassy Grams can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
