Hi! I am Griselda, but some of my foster Moms call me 'Mama G!' I was found as an outside stray in a colony where a lovely lady fed me. However, I got pregnant and had to find somewhere safe to have my kittens, so I picked a literal hole in a wall downtown in Harrisburg city! Thank goodness we were rescued. Now that my babies got older, I really find that I enjoy spending time with other cats, dogs and humans! I am extremely chatty and will talk to you all day. I also love to be held. Human affection is my top favorite thing! Oh, and pasta fagioli, sometimes I sneak some off my foster Moms plate! Im a typical tort, what can I say?! I am spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
