My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️
💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟

Meet Doah💛

1.) Health Condition

* Spayed.

* Microchipped, currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and giardia, and dental scaling completed.

* Is missing one toe on her hind paw, but it doesn’t significantly affect her daily life.

2.) Rescue Story

* Doah was rescued from the Gimje City Shelter. She had been living in harsh conditions, tied on a short leash every day. During the extended Chuseok holiday this year, the reduced care at the shelter made her situation even more dangerous. Judging that Doa might not survive the holiday, Adogs immediately stepped in and rescued her without delay.

3.) Basic Information

* With People: Is still cautious around people but allows gentle touch. Since she was only recently rescued from the shelter, she needs time to adjust.

* With Dogs: Prefers being alone and shows little interest in other dogs.

* With Cats: Unknown — she hasn't met any cats yet.

* Separation Anxiety: Unknown — she currently lives in a group setting at our center.
 * Potty Training: Unknown — she is currently at our center. Will need basic potty training when she moves into a home.

* Walks: Is not taking walks yet due to heartworm treatment.

* Car Sickness: Hasn’t experienced long drives yet, but she has shown no signs of motion sickness during short rides.

* May mouth or nip when someone tries to remove her e-collar or give her medication. This might be due to stress from adjusting to a new environment or a reaction to discomfort — further observation is needed.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
