Princess just didn’t seem to suit this rough and tumble little girl so we’re calling her Cricket now.

Cricket was deliberately hit by a car in Ellis County. With great vet care and the perfect rehab foster, Cricket is healing well. She is a bouncy kind of gal and play is her love language.

She's under a year and just a little thing - we’re calling her a “pocket heeler”. Cricket is ready for a home of her own and a little TLC.

More about this rescue

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away in 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue - so here we are.

Flying B provides rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in the Ellis County and surrounding areas.
