My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🤎❄️ Meet Coco! ❄️🤎

Coco is a beautiful white and brown Labrador Husky mix who’s as sweet as her name! At 42 lbs., this affectionate girl is full of love, charm, and a little bit of goofiness.

✨ About Coco:

* Female, Labrador Husky mix
* 42 lbs.
* Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots
* No cats please 🚫
* Loves other dogs! 🐾
* Loves people (likely great with older kids!) 💕
* Rides quietly in the car (still learning to hop in!) 🚗
* House training in progress 🏠
* Working on leash manners — she’s improving every day! 🦮

Coco’s personality shines through — she’s incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate. She just needs a little guidance and consistency to help her finish learning the basics. Whoever welcomes her home will gain a loyal, joyful best friend! 🐶💫

More about this shelter

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
