Meet Dump Truck – The Sweetest Little Softie in Disguise!
Don’t let the tough name fool you—Dump Truck is 100% sweetheart under that tiny, whiskered exterior. This adorable little girl may start off a bit shy, preferring to watch the action from a safe distance. But the moment she sees her siblings pouncing on toys or chasing shoelaces, her curiosity takes over and she`s right in the middle of the fun.
Dump Truck has a gentle, thoughtful personality that makes her extra special. She’s the kind of kitten who will quietly sneak up next to you for snuggles when things settle down—and if you`re in the mood to baby her a little? She’s totally okay with that, too.
Dump Truck is part of a litter whose mother is FIV-positive. Because kittens carry their mother`s antibodies, we won`t know her true FIV status until she`s about 6 months old. At that point, she can be accurately tested for FIV/FeLV. Until then, we`re treating Dump Truck and her siblings as if they are FIV-positive - this means she should either be adopted with a sibling or be the only cat in the home (just to be safe).
With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Dump Truck will blossom into the purrfect companion. She’d do great in a home with other playful cats or gentle humans who understand that sometimes, even the toughest-sounding kitties just want a cozy lap and a string toy.
Ready to give Dump Truck the soft landing she deserves? She’s ready to roll into your heart!

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
