My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Kyzer – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you active, and shower you with love, look no further — Kyzer is your guy! ❤️

Kyzer is a 4-year-old 77 lb Lab mix with the perfect blend of goofy Lab charm and loyal Pittie heart. He’s fully vetted, dog-friendly, and kid-friendly, making him a wonderful family companion. He would prefer a home without cats.

This sweet boy was rescued off the urgent list at the local shelter in August 2024. He’s been in rescue ever since, which means he has spent the last year living in a kennel-type environment instead of in a real home. 💔 As amazing as he is, he just keeps getting overlooked — and he deserves so much more.

Kyzer is full of life and personality! 🎾 He loves to play with other dogs, romp around in the yard, and go on adventures. Whether it’s fetch, a walk, or just zoomies in the grass, Kyzer is always ready to have a good time. But once the fun is over, he’s just as content to curl up by your side and soak up all the cuddles.

Kyzer is the kind of dog who greets every day with a smile and every person as a new best friend. He’s affectionate, loyal, and full of joy — the kind of pup that will make you wonder how you ever lived without him. 🥰

More about this rescue

Journey's Legacy is a small rescue in Cleveland, TN. We save dogs from the local shelter, off the streets, and occasionally owner surrenders if there is room or an urgent need. We have dogs in foster homes, boarding facilities, and the ranch. We specialize in medium to large breed dogs. We are working hard to get laws to change to require pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to stop the overpopulation of animals.
