My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Henry! Henry is an active, medium high engery, complete goofball that wants to be part of the pack. He's a 2 years old German Shepherd, crate-trained, travels well, and is eager to find a family wholl give him the patience, love, and stability he deserves. Henry has a heart as big as his goofy grin when he tosses his toys around and makes you laugh. At first, Henry can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loyal. He loves playing with other dogs after a proper introduction and thrives when he has a female buddy to romp around with. He enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures but also knows how to relax and enjoy quiet moments with his people. If youre looking for a smart, silly, and loving companion to share your days with, Henry just might be your perfect match. He really wants to be part of the family, so work from home or being retired is best.Henry is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and should be ready to go to his new home in mid December. More about this rescue

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
