Ms Luna is a very smart girl. She knows all the basics from sit to paw. Lately, we have been working on walking without a leash. She stays close for a good bit, then tends to get distracted, but overall, she is doing well.
She is full of puppy energy, but is very docile around other dogs at the park. She is a gentle giant.
Very intelligent and wants to please, but she can get a little sneaky about the garbage if left out.
She is crate-trained but has learned how to get out.
We want an active, loving home that appreciates an intelligent, working breed. She has separation anxiety, so a home with a companion dog or someone home most of the time would be ideal.
Because she is an intelligent, working breed, we would like an adopter who is willing to provide training and structure for her.
Age: 1 year
Weight: 70 lbs
Temperament: Gets along with larger/sturdy kids, other dogs, and is fine with dog-savvy cats (she may want to play initially)
Training: Housetrained, has basic training, crate trained, but escapes
Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative
Email for questions: salvador.stewart@yahoo.com
To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
