My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Saffron is an young German Shepherd mix bursting with joy, energy, and puppy enthusiasm. She walks pretty well on a leash, but once she’s loose in the play yard, it’s zoomies galore! Saffron loves to run at top speed, fishtailing her back legs as she makes sharp turns, clearly having the time of her life. She’s very energetic and playful and tends to jump up a lot in excitement - she’s just so eager to play and be involved that she can’t quite contain herself yet! She does know how to sit on command, and she’s motivated by both treats and toys. Squeaky toys are a favorite, and she’s perfectly happy entertaining herself with them.

Despite her go-go-go speed, Saffron has a sweet off switch: when you’re petting her, she melts. She’ll happily settle in for as long as you’ll give her attention, rolling right over for belly rubs (which she absolutely adores). She’s a playful pup at heart and still very much enjoying the world with puppy curiosity. Saffron would thrive with an active home ready to help her channel her energy, continue her training, and give her plenty of playtime and cuddles. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, high-energy companion, Saffron might be your perfect match.
