Tidbit is a happy, high energy girl who’s always thrilled to get out of her kennel and see what fun is next. Her playful personality really shines. In the play yard, Tidbit is all about the zoomies! She’s energetic and loves to run around, entertaining herself just as easily as she soaks up attention. She’ll happily run right into you, sit on your feet, and look up at you like you’re her favorite thing in the world. When you start petting her, she might spin in little excited circles while picking the perfect spot - then she settles in and enjoys the pets and even a few sweet kisses.
Tidbit knows how to sit for a treat (even if she doesn’t hold it long yet) and takes treats with nicely from your hand. She`s curious about squeaky toys - even if she hasn’t quite figured them out yet. She’s truly a puppy at heart: goofy, affectionate, and full of joy. Tidbit would love an active home that can give her lots of playtime and love.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday also from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are open Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and closed on Sunday.

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
