My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who wouldn’t want an armful of this big sweet boy? Tiptree is as nice as the jams he is named for. He was scared and shy when he and his family first arrived, but he is a gentle giant purrfect for cuddles. He likes wand toys, high cozy spots, treats, and patient affection.

Tiptree is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
