My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent at sydneynicole1@aol.com

Meet Miche Your Loyal, Companion with a Slash of Spunk!

Miche is a 6-year-old tortoiseshell beauty with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She will take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she settles in, her playful, affectionate, and delightfully spunky side shines through.

Miche is curious about everything and loves to jump up as high as she can to take in a view from above. She enjoys taking part of whatever you’re doing — whether that’s curling up on your lap, keeping you company on the couch, or snoozing at the foot of your bed. She’s also a great communicator and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s hungry.

She would do best in a calm home with predictable routines and gentle handling, where she can feel secure and loved. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll reward you with endless cuddles, companionship, and a little bit of sass — the perfect mix for a loyal feline friend. To learn more about her please contact sydneynicole1@aol.com

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
