If you’re sitting or lying down, expect her to crawl right into your lap, flop dramatically for pets, or curl up for a cozy nap. She’ll happily sleep in your bed, follow you around the house, and even let out a tiny squeak if she can’t find her people — it’s her adorable way of saying, “Where are you? I want snuggles!”
Once she feels comfortable in her new space (she prefers approaching new people when they’re calm, seated, or even when the lights are low), she blossoms into a confident, affectionate little companion who makes herself right at home.

About Her FIV Status: Gossip Girl is FIV+ — but don’t let that worry you! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not contagious to people or other animals, and many FIV+ cats live long, healthy, normal lives with regular vet care and an indoor home. In Gossip Girl’s case, it doesn’t affect her day-to-day life at all. She truly just wants to be the only princess in her castle, and FIV doesn’t change her sweetness one bit.

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
