My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Gus! Gus is a 3 year old short haired sweetie! He was captured after being dumped outside. He lived his entire life in a hoarding situation, and was in poor health. After some TLC and a good bath and brushing - he started to come out of her shell. Gus-Gus is able to live with other cats and dogs, he is also good with kids. If he lived in a home as the only pet, that would be fine with him too. He loves to sunbathe in the windows & get pets from his foster Mama! He is a lap cat! If you're interested in Gus-Gus, please apply at www.castawaycritters.org.

He is FIV/FELV negative, neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
