Hooch is a gentle, quiet boy with the sweetest little happy trots that are guaranteed to steal your heart! He may be calm by nature, but he’s always trying to convince his sister, Grace, to play. Hooch is potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows his cues — “sit,” “treat,” and “wait.” He loves attention and affection, though he prefers to enjoy his meals without interruptions (who can blame him?!). He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, his loving personality shines through. He is quick to open up!In his previous home, Hooch did wonderfully with other dogs, children, and even cats — he’s a well-rounded companion who just wants to feel safe and loved again. Introductions should still be taken slowly and we can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Hooch came to the shelter with his sister, Grace, and their kitty friend, Bella, after their family developed severe allergies. Now, this sweet boy is ready for a fresh start and a forever home to call his own.
