My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Odie! Odie has been enjoying life in a loving foster home. His dream is to have a home for the holidays. Odie has the most beautiful marble looking eyes that will melt your heart. He is a year old, housebroken, and knows his basic manners. Odie loves to be outside, learning commands and takes treats gently. He loves to walk in the woods (or anywhere), then curl up next to you for a nap after a little activity. He loves to cuddle and loves his people. Odie loves other dogs, kids, and he walks great on a leash. He is having so much fun with his friend Ned, who is also available for adoption. He’s playful, loves his bones and toys. He is not a barker and loves to go on car rides. He is a great companion in the car and likes to keep you company as you take care of errands. He would love a family with a fenced in yard where he can live his best life.

Odie has been to doggy day care sessions and had a blast playing with the other dogs. Some of the words used to describe Odie while he was at doggy daycare were charming, chipper, friendly and playful.

Odie loves being around people and other dogs - he absolutely thrives on affection and playtime. Whether it's a zoom around the yard with his doggie friends or some quiet cuddles after a big day of fun, Odie's happiest when he's surrounded by love. Odie is heartworm negative, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped. To make him part of the family - one that's ready for the fun, love, and occasional goofiness that comes with a 1-year-old pup, fill out a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com. In return, Odie will give you endless loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of big cuddles.

Odie is being fostered in Connecticut.
