My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to John! A wonderful foster family decided Texas boarding was no place for sweet John to spend the holidays. So, John hopped on the truck and is now enjoying the comfort and fun of a life with a family in NY State. What a great holiday this adorable guy is now having. Read on to see what John's Foster Mom has to say about him already:

John is doing really well in our home. He plays well with our dog and met my son’s dog yesterday. Although my son’s dog isn’t keen on other dogs John did well with him not getting too close. He also did well with my grandson who is 8. He’s got a great appetite and always finishes his food. He loves toys and playing with our dog Barkley. John is doing well with housetraining and is learning the rules quickly. He goes in the crate when it is time to settle down. He’s getting really good at sitting down for his treat now. John is a good boy!

John has only been in his foster home a few days and is thriving!
If you love the labs and love an active lifestyle, John could be the guy for you! He is a nice size at 48 pounds. This two-year-old smiling lab is an energetic, friendly dog who likes to play. John walks through life with an air of curiosity and joy. His loving nature and inquisitive spirit will make him an endearing sidekick for your daily adventures. John's a handsome boy with a heart as warm as his big smile. He wants to make memories with his new family, and with this pup by your side everyday will be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. John is current on his shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is ready to bring abundant happiness to a household as a cherished member of a loving family.
