Meet Magnolia, a spirited and lovable Great Dane–Collie mix with the energy of a young collie and the cuddle bug heart of a Dane. At just six months old, she’s a whirlwind of curiosity, playfulness, and affection—always on the hunt for her next chew toy or adventure. Magnolia has a bright, engaging personality that makes her fun and endearing, but she’s so full of energy that she’s looking for a home that can keep up with her playful antics.
Magnolia adores people, is gentle and patient with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. She would thrive with a playful canine sibling (or a few!) to help keep her entertained and give her the social outlet she craves. She’s curious about cats, but they’re not always interested in playing, so a cat-free home or patient introductions would work best.
She’s potty trained and sleeps through the night with kids in the home, showing that she’s learning boundaries quickly. While she’s not yet crate trained, that could be a helpful tool in her new home to support her ongoing puppy training. Magnolia is smart and loves puzzle games, so mental stimulation alongside her physical activity is key.
Her ideal home would have a large yard or the ability to provide daily walks, structured playtime, and plenty of love and guidance as she grows. Magnolia is ready for a family who can match her energy, encourage her curiosity, and help shape her into the wonderful, well-rounded adult dog she’s destined to become. She’s a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who will bring joy—and a little chaos—to any home willing to embrace her puppy spirit.

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
