From the foster: Meet Mama Angel, a sweetheart looking for her forever home and a guiding hand. She is 2 years old with a heart of gold and a zest for life. Her favorite things include snuggling, giving kisses, car rides, walks, and really anything that involves her humans.
She is a smart girl who is affectionate, playful, and eager to please but needs someone who can help her work on training and manners when she gets excited. She has some separation anxiety and would be happiest in a home where her people are around most of the time, or with a family committed to helping her feel safe and secure when she is alone. She is working hard on her leash skills so she can be the best walking partner. She is fully house trained and does well in a crate. She has recently learned how to sit and likes to show that off. She is wonderful with kids.
She is looking for a loving family who wants a loyal companion and who is ready to help her shine her brightest. She needs a little structure and a lot of love (a couple things that have been missing from her life). She would thrive with a patient owner who can offer consistent routines. She truly is an amazing dog.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
