My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We know it’s only fall but it’s time to meet Snowy! ❄️

SNOWY is a just under a year old and the sweetest soul! SNOWY found herself at the local animal shelter as a stray and when A Lab for Life volunteer came to pick up a different dog, they saw SNOWY and couldn’t leave her behind. She’s been living the good life ever since!

SNOWY is a total sweetheart! She loves other dogs and all people! She gets so excited when her foster mom gets home from work. She’s a smart girl who knows how to sit and is kennel trained and potty trained.

SNOWY adores belly rubs and snuggles. She does well riding in the car. Walking on a leash is so fun and exciting for SNOWY that sometimes she forgets her manners and pulls a little. This treat motivated girl is sure to be a breeze to train.

SNOWY has an old eye injury to her right eye that has been evaluated and treated by A Lab for Life’s most trusted vet. Sadly the injury has resulted in blindness in her right eye. She does not have swelling or pain in the eye so there is no need for it to be removed right now. SNOWY doesn’t let her eyesight difficulties slow her down one bit. She’s happy and playful as ever!

Lovely SNOWY deserves a warm home with a forever family to love her! Could that be with you?

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
