My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet LILA!

LILA is a 1-year-old, bundle of joy who hits that perfect medium size sweet spot. She is incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs, greeting everyone she meets with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. LILA still has happy puppy energy and can get a bit jumpy when she’s excited, so a home with older children would be ideal while she continues polishing her puppy manners.

She walks nicely on a leash, loads up well for car rides, and is always ready for her next adventure. LILA loves to run, play, and swim, and would thrive in an active home where she can burn off her energy and enjoy life to the fullest. She would especially love having another dog to play with and learn from.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social, fun-loving girl who’s always up for adventure and companionship, LILA may be the one for you.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
