Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Now It’s Dottie’s Turn to Shine
Dottie came to us as a very pregnant stray and proved to be the most amazing mama, raising nine beautiful puppies who have all found loving homes. Now that her job is done, it’s finally Dottie’s turn to be spoiled and cherished the way she deserves.
Dottie is an incredibly sweet girl with the cutest happy wiggle you’ve ever seen. When she’s excited to see you, her whole body joins the celebration! She loves soaking up the sunshine, playing with her toys, and handing out plenty of sweet kisses.
She’s not just lovable — she’s well-mannered too. Dottie is housetrained, crate trained, and walks great on a leash, making her an easy addition to a home. She does well with kids and seems like she’d do well with most other dogs, though a meet and greet is always recommended to make sure everyone’s a good match.
After being such a devoted mama, Dottie is more than ready to be someone’s baby. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a wiggly tail and a heart of gold, Dottie is your girl

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on `Foster Questionnaire.`
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
