Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dwight is the perfect dog! He has a sweet, loving personality. Everyone who meets him falls in love. He enjoys cuddling in the morning, and he'll put his head in your hand so you can easily pet him. He enjoys running around and wrestling with his doggy friends of all sizes. He doesn't know his size so he can get a little overexcited and clumsy. He isn't a fan of loud vehicles and trains but is learning to be okay with them. Dwight is intrigued by cats and sometimes runs to them when he gets excited, but he is learning to control the urge. He loves to play tug of war, and does well on walks and hikes. Dwight has spondylosis, where some discs are compressed in his spine, and he needs orthopedic beds and has to take medication daily to manage his pain. He also has a sensitive stomach and is allergic to chicken so he eats a special gastrointestinal food. Although his back can get a little painful, he still runs, jumps and loves life. Meet him and take a glimpse of how special this big man is!

If you are interested in one of our animals, please fill out an adoption application, located on our web site here: http://tubacityhumanesociety.org/adoptions/ . There is more information about our adoption process, including our adoption fees, on that page. In general, fill out an adoption application, and then photo or scan it to our email at tubacityhumane@gmail.com, and that enables us to start a conversation with you. From there, the foster would usually set up a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in. We like all family members to meet the animal, and any other pets as well. We do require a home check. Adoption fees do not cover our veterinary cost, but do help us to continue our work. All animals are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Most animals are also microchipped.

Go meet their pets
Arrangements can usually be made to meet most of our adoptable animals in Flagstaff. The process starts by filling out an application and returning it to to us through email. Some animals are fostered in Tuba City or other locations. We do attend some adoption events in Flagstaff.
