Rowan is a 1-year-old Dalmatian mix, weighing around 56 lbs, and he LOVES all people! He’s a total sweetheart who thrives on attention and enjoys meeting everyone he encounters, including kids. His excitement for social interaction is contagious, and he greets everyone with a wagging tail and bright eyes.

He loves to meet and play with other dogs, but he would do best with an adopter who can teach him when it’s appropriate to stay calm around his doggy friends. Rowan loves to go on walks, he’s engaged, curious, and wags his tail at everyone passing by. He’s eager to please and motivated by human interaction, which makes him a joy to work with and learn from.

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building.
