My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.

Hey Snoopy!  This little dude came in from a hoarding rescue with a pretty bad case of flea dermatitis to the point he really had no hair on his back half. His hair is growing back in nicely and he should have a full coat back before the snow flies.  Snoopy is a confident guy and would be best in a home with a female dog or as an only dog.  He has so much love to give and his favorite thing to do is to be held on his back like a baby!  We think he would adore being someone's special pup just like Charlie Brown. He would love to go for car rides for pup cups and to check out the town or to just cruise around and look at the changing leaves.  Snoopy is about 10-12 pounds and 3.5 years old.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, wormed and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300.00

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
