My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** The first step in the adoption process is to go to www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the adoption application***

This sweet and sassy little orange and white chubby girl is Cheyanne! She was found at a chicken farm and rescued by an employee! Cheyanne can spend most of her days napping on her favorite bed at the shelter and no other cat better sneak into her spot if she gets up to grab a drink or a snack.  And if they do, she will stand there and glare at them until they get up and move. Her bed is her bed!  we believe that Cheyanne does have some allergy issues and she takes a daily medication for those which help immensely. We believe this girl was born June 2023 and she is looking for her forever home where she can take her bed and have all the snacks she would like. Would you maybe have a spot in your home for her cat bed and in your heart for her sweet face?   Cheyanne is spayed up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed and microchip and as always our cat and kitten adoptions are free will to approved applicants

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
