Meet Espresso — the sweetest little shot of joy you could ask for. This handsome guy wandered onto someone’s property one day, politely introduced himself to their dogs and their kids, and decided everybody there was his new best friend. We thought for sure someone would come looking for him… but no one ever did.
So now Espresso is ready to start again — this time with a family who sees just how special he is.
He’s about 9 months old, already neutered, and well on his way to being the kind of dog that just fits perfectly into family life. He does great on leash, is learning his basic manners like a champ, and has the happiest, friendliest personality. If you’re looking for a dog who loves people, kids, and other pups — this is your boy.
Espresso LOVES to run, play, explore, and zoom around with that goofy puppy energy. A fenced yard would be a bonus for him to get his wiggles out, and another dog friend in the home would just make his heart burst with joy.

The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee.
Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!

Occasionally, we have reduced fees based on the shelter population. Cats and kittens are currently two for one adoption fee. This fee includes worming, age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipping (for dogs), and basic spay/neuter costs. All animals will be spayed or neutered before going home. You may pay our adoption fee and do an adoption questionnaire over the phone by calling 828-682-9510.
