Meet Ooby 💛

Ooby is a 38lb Black Mouth Cur mix who’s had a rough go and is feeling very scared in the shelter. Despite his nerves, there’s a gentle, kind dog just waiting to come out once he feels safe. He has some skin issues that may need care or monitoring in the future, but with a little love and attention, this sweet pup has so much potential to thrive.

Ooby would do best in a calm, patient home where he can decompress, build trust, and learn that people can be kind. He’s a handsome, sensitive soul who deserves a second chance and a warm spot to finally feel at peace. 💕

We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.
