My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Boroughbreaker writes: I heard that Bababooey was fearful when he first arrived at the shelter, but he shows no sign of that now! He was SO excited to head out for the day, and thrilled to interact with anyone who came his way. He's very interested in other dogs, and wants to meet them all. He still has a lot of puppy energy (I suspect he'd be a great running companion) and could probably benefit from a little leash training, but he's so smart and I'm sure he'd learn quickly. He already sits on command and lies down when directed. He also loves food, but it VERY gentle when taking a treat from your hand. Also, if you sit down, he immediately comes up and puts his front paws and head in your lap, and will stay for the longest time if you give him skritches. He's a total sweetheart.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!
