Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eddie was found under a house in downtown Indianapolis (yes, under a house). But unlike the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, who got squashed by a falling home, Eddie wasn’t part of any magical real estate accident. He was just trying to survive. And let’s be honest, he was never meant to be living under a house. He was meant to be in a house, preferably on the couch, hogging the blankets and begging for some snacks. Now he lives in a house but he’s waiting for his own “no place like home.”
As a puppy, Eddie battled seizures that made his future uncertain. But this brave little munchkin saw a neurologist, clicked his ruby slippers (ok he does not wear ruby slippers but he was just as brave as Dorothy that is for sure), and has now been seizure-free for over a year! He has grown from a “subdued” shadow into a full technicolor personality.
Eddie is goofy in the best way. The kind of dog who hops around the yard with all four paws off the ground like he’s auditioning for the Lollipop Guild. He plays with toys, humans, dogs, and probably flying monkeys if given the chance. He’s got leash skills (though he’s still working on not pulling like he’s trying to get back to Kansas), but even kids can walk him without getting swept away.
He’s a companion through and through. Eddie loves company and would rather be with is people than alone.
So, if you’re ready to give Eddie the ending he deserves then click your heels three times and say: “I’m ready to adopt” and fill out the adoption application.
Because Eddie’s looking for his happy ending just like Dorothy and Toto got.
