My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Blue is a loveable grandpa, who deserves a forever home filled with love, cuddles and plenty of peanut butter! This lovebug loves a soft surface - comfy dog bed, couch or human bed - to rest and wants nothing more than to be with his humans. Like any land seal, he loves his baked potato time - laying in the sun outside and watching the world go by is one of his favorite pastimes. He's calm on a leash, house trained, makes the funniest whale noises when he wants attention and is comfortable both in your presence and when left home alone. He'd do best in a home with no stairs, but goofy Blue would give his forever family lots of kisses and laughs!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home!
