My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: A Dozen Roses is the sweetest bouquet you'll ever cuddle! 🌹 This lovely lady is playful and energetic, full of personality, loving, curious, and always looking to brighten your day with tail wags and warm snuggles. We've never heard her bark! She's as quiet as she is charming, making her the perfect companion for cozy homes and calm vibes.

Meet A Dozen Roses! 🌹
This sweet three-year-old pup is as charming as her name! Found as a stray, A Dozen Roses has quickly won over the hearts of the shelter staff with her affectionate nature and love for snuggles. She's highly social, enjoys pets, and is eager to learn.

She has no known reactivity to other dogs on leash, but since her history is a mystery, slow introductions to other pets are recommended. She's an energetic girl who thrives on daily exercise, training, and enrichment activities like food puzzles and hide-and-seek games. A Dozen Roses is still working on her manners-she sometimes jumps on people and counter-surfs-but with patience and positive reinforcement training, she'll blossom into the perfect companion.

🐾 Personality: Affectionate, playful, eager to learn
🏡 Ideal Home: A patient adopter who can provide training, structure, and daily activity

My BB wrote: Adopt "A Dozen Roses" (ID:220179) Today we took out "A Dozen Doses" who we decided to call "Rosie." This girly is everything you could possibly want in a companion pet. She is quick to love whoever she is with, gentle to take treats with a soft mouth and already knows "sit"! From the moment we met her she greeted us by jumping and giving us a near hug- soooooo friendly! She was enthusiastic to walk and was wiggling all over the sidewalk. She loves toys and can be so silly. She doesn't mind if you take her toy, either. Though she wants to eat every morsel of food we come across, she was not hard to walk and her tail was wagging the entire time. She showed no reactivity to dogs on leash, either. There is nothing that could shake her happiness!! What makes her unique is she was equally as happy to sit next to us while we ate lunch without any complaints. She sat beside us patiently waiting for us to be finished. She gave little tippy taps before we gave her a treat because she was so excited! Her little snorts while she sniffs sound just like a little piggy and it is so endearing. When we stopped at a coffee shop, she even took a little nap after our long walk! She would be such a good companion for a family ready to open their heart to a sweet, happy and cuddly girl. She would be excited to go on a long walk with you but also down to chill out for a movie night and cuddle up next to you. She could be great for a studio apartment or a big house with a yard. Adopt " A Dozen Roaka Rosie, she is ready to come home with you today!!!!!!
