My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Foster Writes:
Hi I'm Marni, a vocal 13 yr old that's young at heart. I love to play with feather wands, laser toys and enjoy hugging/biting/kicking cat nip toys. I'm a curious, purring machine that will sniff around and see where I'll relax next. I will listen to you while you tell me all about your day and I'll meow back. It's rude if I stay silent, right? Yes, I'm very vocal but truly lovable. I'm up for cuddles and I'll show off my purring skills all day long.

A volunteer writes: Context is everything. Meet 13 year old Marni who has been described as a playful, affectionate, and talkative guy who loves his water fountain, but, since he hasn't been loving the Care Center, I haven't yet seen this side of his brilliant personality. Friendly habits are friendly habits, so I wasn't surprised when he hopped over to the front when he saw me. I thought he was happy to see me and was only slightly disappointed that he had his eyes on the squeeze up I held in my hand. With occasional grumbles to complement his legendary side eye, he ate the treats and we shared our time. I want to say happily, but his little arched kitty eyebrow was everything as he continually questioned my presence. Now, I don't feel in a position to judge what I see as the sum total. If someone took a snapshot of me working on a group project or being uncomfortable at a party, I wouldn't look so good. I think, however, Marni deserves to be at his best and look good, which is why I think you should give him a chance and take him home.
