My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Lazy Sunday ("Sunday") is looking for a forever home for his golden years. This elderly gentleman brings grandpa vibes in the best way: he has excellent manners, quietly provides you with love and support, and enjoys "talking" (he meows silently a lot, but it's very important you respond!!). He loves any meal or treat you give him, getting brushed, snoozing in "his spot," and leans in to the best head rubs. If you are looking for a quiet companion to ride out the laziest Sundays, he is your man!

A volunteer writes:
At 14 years young, Lazy Sunday is a sweet, vocal gentleman with the heart and energy of a younger cat. He arrived at our care center alongside his companions Happy Monday (14) and Wacky Thursday (7) after their devoted owner passed away. A kind friend cared for them temporarily, but when she could no longer continue, these three needed our help.
Despite being a toothless senior with a slightly unkempt appearance, Lazy Sunday is anything but lazy when it comes to love! This affectionate silvery boy craves human company and attention like nothing else. He'll follow you everywhere, head-butt you with enthusiasm, and purr up a storm. He's never in hiding and never seems to get enough affection.
Our entire team has marveled at his friendly, social nature and zest for life. Currently treated for a minor cold, Lazy Sunday's excellent appetite and the proper care he's receiving should have him back to his lively self very soon.
This wonderful gentleman desperately needs a loving home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, cherished, and surrounded by the attention he so adores. Senior cat lovers will be truly blessed to welcome Lazy Sunday into their hearts and homes!
