MEET MEERA! Meera is a beautiful and small 5-1/2-year-old blue & white American Staffordshire Terrier in need of a forever home. She's currently in a foster home in the Greater Portland area. Meera is a fun-loving girl - she loves the ball, loves toys, loves to go for walks and loves to take naps! She's short in stature and weighs only about 45 lbs. Meera is a loving and cuddly girl and would do great with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. She would do well in a condo or apartment, too. She loves car rides, and loves to go out and about and enjoy the sunshine. She is not a fan of other dogs, so needs to be the only dog in the home. She's also got a prey drive, so no cats, please. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Southern California, but we adopt dogs to people in states across the country. In 2024, we adopted almost 200 animals to people in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Texas and New York. Most of the animals we save come from high-kill shelters in California, but we also take in owner surrenders.
