My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I am Jinx! I was rescued with my sister, Salem, in Riverside after being dumped near an apartment building. A nice cat rescuer brought us in and got us into Smittens!
I am full of energy and sometimes have a lot to say. I enjoy laying on your lap when I’m not running and playing! I also love a cat tree and places to climb. I have lived with other cats and dogs, I do well with slow intros.
I am ready for a forever life indoors! At my age I must be adopted into a home with a playful kitty or with another age appropriate friend (maybe my sister!).

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
