I’m an active and playful guy, and I take my playtime seriously! I love playing `kitty soccer` with that little mini jingle water polo ball—I could do that all night long! And of course, I go crazy for a good feather toy. If you`re looking for entertainment, I`m your kitten!
I`m a curious cat, and that includes other pets! I`m especially curious about dogs and would love to meet a friendly, gentle canine sibling with a slow introduction.
While I love to run and play, I`m also a major cuddle enthusiast. When you pick me up, I totally melt into you! My absolute favorite time is when we snuggle up together under a cozy blanket—I promise to fall asleep right on your chest. Just one thing: I can still get a little startled if you approach me too quickly, so please move gently and slowly until I learn your rhythm.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
